“ I think I'm gonna have to update my review of this spot to five stars! This is the original Johnny's New York Style Pizza located in Hapeville! You get a lot of local crowd here which is why I love this spot! It annoys me when pizza joints don't sell by the slice but Johnnys definitely does! Why pay for more pizza when it's just gonna go to waste! The service is usually pretty good too! You kinda get that small town friendly vibe out of the waitresses and that's another plus! In a world where everything has become too expensive and I really can't afford to go out anymore, I feel Ike I can have a beer and a slice or two without breaking the bank! Don't forget to check out their Monday and Tuesday specials. Also, if you haven't signed up for their dough rewards program, you definitely should! Because--why leave a free pizza on the table!!!! If you are by yourself, there's usually a friendly person at the bar to talk to, or, the staff are also nice! One more thing! Their beer prices are not ridiculous like most places have become either. That's something I sincerely appreciate! I love coming here with my wife because we both love pizza, and it's a cheap date! I'll definitely be back, and next time I'll remember to take some photos before I gobble up all the pizza haha! Definitely recommended! ”

“ I've ordered takeout from Johnny's plenty of times, but I felt like sitting down with a couple of slices. They didn't disappoint! Location and Parking Located in Hapeville, parking is plentiful and free. Venue and Atmosphere Nothing fancy inside, just solid wooden booths, a chalkboard menu, a few picnic tables outdoors, and a bar serving beer and wine. Bathrooms are very clean, as is the rest of the restaurant. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I ordered a 4-cheese slice, as well as a build your own slice with pepperoni, jalapenos, sausage, and onion. Both were delicious and the crust was perfection. The greek salad appetizer was ok but it could've used a few more toppings and less lettuce. No worries though, we are here for the dough and cheese really. Verdict I'll be back for my next pizza craving! ”

“ OhEmGeeeeeee!!! Anytime I'm in Hapeville I have to stop by Johnny's. This location is my absolute favorite. It's always clean, the service is above standard, and best of all, the food is AMAZING!!!! When you walk in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a neighborhood favorite. The design is simple yet fun and there is ample space so feeling crowded isn't a thing. Clean tables. Clean floors. And best of all, a clean kitchen area. This visit I decided to do takeout. I went to the counter, placed my order, and had a seat at the bar until my order was ready. As always, as soon as I walk into Johnny's I am constantly conflicted on if I want Pizza or a Calzone. You don't understand, everything at Johnny's is soooooooooooo good. I want it alllllllllllll. However, due to me trying to unbig my back, I can't do it. This time I decided on the Johnny's Italian Special Calzone (1210 Cal) $10.69 Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onion & green peppers with seasoned ricotta & mozzarella cheese. One Word.... SPECTACULAR!!!! Everything was fresh. It had the perfect bread to filling ratio. This is important as too much bread or not enough bread or filling can ruin the entire experience. However, Johnny's NEVER fails and the Italian Special was spot on. Meaty Pepperoni, well seasoned sausage, fresh mushrooms, perfectly sized onion & green peppers and the seasoned ricotta & mozzarella cheese hit perfectly and brought the entire experience to life. Now, me being me... I had to smother it in Parmesan Cheese... don't judge me! ”

“ This place goes way back in history for me. I was a young employee for Delta Air Lines based in Atlanta, GA and several of our team parties were hosted by Johnny's pizza near the airport. My wife and I fell in love with their NY style pizza and over the years had children and got them into their pizza. Last fall during a visit back to Atlanta my wife and I made our first stop at Johnny's and it hasn't changed! Loved it every time! Highly recommend! ”

The food was fresh and flavorful. On a side note, the restaurant was 90% full when I when inside to pick up my order. I would visit again. ”

“ A New Yorker living in Atlanta for 5 years this place brings tears to my eyes after searching so long to find the pizza that taste like it came from New York! I live an hour away and will travel to Johnny's Pizza for 2 slices! HANDS DOWN... the best prices!!! Plenty of parking, fantastic customer service! I go there in the afternoons so it's not that crowded and sit at the counter. I felt like home!! I told my son who lives in Suwanee and now he drives down! YEP!! It's that good!! ”
